where third spaces are rare, mental health challenges
are rising, and time outdoors is shrinking.
DUG gardens create space for something different —
where people show up for each other. For potlucks and
planting days. For shared meals and shared meaning.
For community.
Why $100,000?
$100,000 is what we need to launch DUG's Endowment Fund! We aim to build an Endowment of $8 million (twice our current annual operating budget). At a sustainable 5% annual distribution, that would cover ~10% of our operating costs — a critical stabilizer for all DUG programming.
